Silverpines Community House based in Bray provides respite breaks for children over the age of 8 years. Planned respite breaks take place during the school year with longer breaks taking place during school holidays.
Children play an active part in planning their respite break and enjoy a range of activities which are appropriate for their age, interest and ability. All activities are designed to promote maximum independence and inclusion in the local and wider community.
Children's Services in Wicklow
We provide a range of therapy, social and educational services to children and teenagers who have multi-disabilities and to their families. Service supports are based on the identified needs and wishes of service users and are provided in active partnership with them. Services have developed significantly in recent years in line with Enable Ireland's mission which is to enable those who use our services to achieve maximum independence, choice and inclusion in their communities.
