The Department of Justice and Equality is developing a new Disability Inclusion Strategy to run from 2016 to 2020. Building on the first and second phase of this consultation process – which identified key themes and objectives for the new Strategy – the Department is now inviting views from families and service users on a set of suggested actions under different themes such as education and employment. These actions can be viewed in this consultation document.
To progress the development of these actions and to hear the views of people with disabilities and their families, the Department is organising a series of regional consultation meetings to which they would like to invite families and service users to attend.
