Finn Cooney (age 6) and Rachael Doak (age 8) from Enable Ireland children’s services joined with Padhraic Dormer from Enable Ireland adult services to unveil Enable Ireland’s No Limits garden in association with Solus light bulbs. This is the first year that we entered the show with a garden inspired by children using our disability services. The ‘No Limits’ garden represents both the challenges that people with disabilities face but also the reality that with creativity, determination and support, people with disabilities can Live Life with No Limits.

“We want to start a conversation with visitors to Bloom on the barriers that people with disabilities can face in life and demonstrate through our garden that you can remove these barriers to enable people with disabilities to realise their potential and Live Life with No Limits. We are looking forward to welcoming thousands of visitors to our garden over the next five days,“ commented John O’Sullivan, Enable Ireland National Director of Services.

A key feature in the garden is the eye-catchingly colourful six meter high Helter Skelter.

“The helter skelter is a metaphor for the challenges that people with disabilities can face in life, but it’s also a fun and playful space. It’s about children learning and growing through play as they do in Enable Ireland’s services,” commented Joan Mallon, Enable Ireland’s ‘No Limits’ garden designer.
