Our Partners

Our supporters come from many walks of life and we appreciate all the effort and hard work they put in to us to carry out our work throughout the country. Thank you!

Microsoft Ireland’s Sandyford campus is host to Enable Ireland’s Assistive Technology training programme. The Foundations in Assistive Technology programme, which is accredited by Dublin Institute of Technology, is designed to meet the needs of adults with disabilities as well as their families and carers. It also targets employers, educators, Enable Ireland staff and representatives of other service delivery agencies together with programme funders.

Microsoft has been supporting the programme for 13 years and since then 320 graduates have come through the programme. Enable Ireland Assistive Technology programmes train 1,000 students per year and the multiplier effect of Enable’s direct reach is approximately 24,000 individuals with disabilities per annum.

In addition, Microsoft has also given Enable Ireland software donations to the value of €2.53 million since 2012. This has enabled Enable Ireland to introduce technological change in the organisation’s operations, helping us to achieve cost savings and improve performance.

Microsoft has enjoyed a long term partnership with Enable Ireland.  Ensuring that as many people as possible get to benefit from the full impact of new improved technology is really important to us and the Enable Ireland team has played a key role in testing and providing feedback to us on our products over the years.

TK Maxx have been working with Enable Ireland since 1997. In 2008 TK Maxx and Enable Ireland launched our Give up Clothes For Good campaign, calling on people to drop off their unwanted clothing and household items into any TK Maxx store. We then sell these items through our network of charity shops nationwide, raising vital funds for children with disabilities in communities across Ireland.

Since the partnership began, TK Maxx has raised over €3.3 million for Enable Ireland which goes directly to supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families in Ireland.
In 2013 TK Maxx won the Chambers Ireland CSR award for Community – Partnership with Charity (Multinational) for Enable Ireland’s Give Up Clothes For Good.
