Contract Type: Permanent full time

We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapy Manager post in our Enable Ireland Dublin Children’s Service, Sandymount.  This is a full time (37hrs per week) permanent post.

Overview of Duties & Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality occupational therapy service. This service involves offering assessment, and intervention to children accessing the service. The manager will ensure that occupational therapists work as part of an inter disciplinary team providing services to children and families.

The successful candidate will have:

Essential Criteria:

• BSc., MSc., or Diploma, or equivalent degree in Occupational Therapy which is recognised and validated for working in Ireland.
• Evidence of state registration with CORU.
• Minimum of 5 years full time post qualification experience in the area of disability.
• Experience of managing services.
• Minimum 5 years post qualification experience of working with families and children with a range of physical disabilities / developmental delay.
• Experience of involvement in clinical service development.
• Competent and proficient IT skills.

Desirable Criteria:

• Evidence of interest and/or experience of, taking a leadership role within the profession or workplace.
