We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical, Training and Support Officer, based in the eastern region covering: Dublin South/Dublin Southwest/North East/Wicklow. The post is part time working an average of 15 hours per week.

The Role:  The purpose of the role is to develop training programmes, provide clinical supervision to nursing staff, co-ordinate national healthcare initiatives and support the development and implementation of clinical compliance standards across all services.

Overview of Duties & Responsibilities

• Planning and implementation of training programmes
• Develop learning objectives in collaboration with the national Training and Quality Department.
• Ensure training programmes are compliant with Company Policy.
• Develop and update course content.
• Liaise with the Training and Quality Department, the local Director of Services and Services Managers.
• Provide Support to Service Managers and existing trainers.
• Review and evaluate training programmes
• Show reasonable flexibility in relation to working hours.

The successful candidate will have:

Essential Criteria:

• A recognised validated University Degree or an equivalent qualification in General/RNID/ Paediatric Nursing/Clinical Nurse Specialist.
• Must be registered with An Bord Altranais

Desirable Criteria:

• Certified First Aid Instructor
• Certified Manual Handling Instructor
• Certified MAPA trainer
