JOB OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Grade Speech and Language Therapist based at our Enable Ireland Childrens Centre, Orchard Way, Oakview Village, Tralee, Co. Kerry.

The Role:  The purpose of the role is to work as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team to provide skilled Speech and Language Therapy Services to meet the assessed needs of children, young people and their families.

The successful candidate will have:

Essential Criteria
• A recognised validated Professional Qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
• Be registered with CORU
• Be eligible to work in the state.
• Have a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience.
• Have worked at least 12 months in the disability services sector.
• Experience of working with children and young adults.
• Good communication skills
• File management skills
• Planning and managing resources.
• Caseload management
• Flexibility
• Proactive approach to overall performance
• Willingness to embrace service development and change

Desirable Criteria
• Professional qualification in FEDS.
LAMH
ASD Diagnostics
• Experience of working effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Experience of working in a community setting
• Experience of supervising others
• Knowledge of the social model of disability
• Awareness of the work of Enable Ireland
• Knowledge of Progressing Disability Services
• Computer skills
• Willingness to embrace service development and change.
