JOB OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity for:

2 x Staff Grade Occupational Therapists (Full Time Permanent Contracts)

The Role:  The purpose of the role is to work as an occupational therapist within the inter/transdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the region, to include clinical assessments, interventions and ongoing service delivery.

Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload, both assessment and interventions, in line with evidence based practice maintaining professional standards.  See Job Description for full details.

Essential Qualifications & Experience: 
• A recognised validated university degree or diploma or an equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Be registered with CORÚ

Desirable Criteria:
• Occupational therapy experience of working with children.
• One year full time post qualification experience working as an occupational therapist.
• Occupational therapy experience of working with children with a disability in a community setting.
• Relevant post graduate experience/training in one or more of the following - Neuro Development Therapy; Postural Management; Upper Limb Intervention; Sensory Integration; Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment & Intervention
