Life With No Limits Campaign Launches!

image of a poster with text Life with No Limits and boy in sports wheelchair Enable Ireland's ‘Life With No Limits’ campaign takes place from 25 September – 14 October this year. The public can support our services for over 5,500 children and adults with disabilities by purchasing Life With No Limit’s wristbands, handy trolley disc or balloons from Enable Ireland charity shops, TK Maxx stores and volunteer sellers nationwide.

The campaign provides a platform, through media and social media, for children and adults with disabilities using Enable Ireland services to talk about how they live Life with No Limits while raising much-needed funds to support our work. Visit www.enableireland.ie/nolimits to read their stories and find out more about the vital work Enable Ireland does around the country supporting the ability in disability.

Séan Nelson, age 10, is one of our Life with No Limits champions. Séan was born with Spina Bifida and is a wheelchair user. He recently completed his first triathalon. Séan’s mum, Sharon, explains, “Through his involvement in wheelchair sports, Séan has seen first hand how that needn’t be a barrier to participating fully in life. His ambition now is to represent Ireland in the Paralympics. I have no doubt he will. It’s really important that Séan has that belief that he can do anything he wants to. There is no such word as can’t in this house! I don’t look at Séan’s disability, I see his ability and what he can do.”

During the campaign, donations can also be made here. Funds raised will go straight to Enable Ireland and will assist the organisation to maintain and build its services, such as the new Children’s Service Centre planned in Cork, purchasing essential equipment and the refurbishment of the Hydrotherapy Pool in Dublin.

Commenting on the campaign, Joanne O’Hagan, Head of Fundraising said, “Life with No Limits is a really positive campaign and we want the public to get on board and have fun with it. There are lots of ways you can help – buy a wristband or trolley disc, make a donation online or host a coffee morning or cake sale.”

Support the ‘Enable Ireland Life with No Limits’ campaign from 25 September – 14 October and help raise vital funds for disability services.
