Kilkenny Hurlers Charity Cycle for Enable Ireland
The Sue Nunn show on KCLR this morning launched the 'Kilkenny Hurlers Charity Cycle for the O’Neill Centre’ with a live show from the centre.
Brian Cody, D.J. Carey, Noel Skehan, Joe Hennessy, Tommy Walshe, Eoin Larkin, Derek Lyng, Michael Kavanagh, Noel Hickey. Chris Curran, Manager of the Irish Handball Association , John McGuiness and Malcolm Noonan, Mayor of Kilkenny were also in attendance.

The cycle will take place on 6 March 2010 and the proposed route will be:
- Leaving Kilkenny (O’Neill Centre) at 08.30am to Ballyhale
Ballyhale to Thomastown
Thomastown to Bennettsbridge
Bennettsbridge to Gowran
Gowran to Castlecomer
Castlecomer to Ballyragget
Ballyragget to Freshford
Freshford to Johnstown
Johnstown to Urlingford
Urlingford to Tullaroan
Tullaroan to Kilmanagh
Kilmanagh to O’Neill Centre to arrive at Centre at 3pm
O’Neill Centre to Irishtown, High Street, John Street to Cillin Hill to arrive at 4.30pm – 5.00pm
At each stage on the above route approximately 5/7 cyclists will be taking part, the cyclists are made up of past and present Kilkenny Hurlers, past and present All Ireland and World Champion Handball Players.
