Join the Team for the Enable Ireland No Limits Kite Appeal

2nd Aug 2010

This September, Enable Ireland will embark on a new fundraising and awareness campaign – the ‘No Limits Kite Appeal’, which will replace Action Week on Disability. The ‘Enable Ireland No Limits Kite Appeal’ is a campaign designed to lift the spirits. Taking place from Monday, 13th to Sunday, 18th September, it will provide a platform for people using Enable Ireland services to talk about how they live their lives with No Limits, while raising funds to support the charity’s work.

During the campaign, donations can also be made through the website at www.nolimits.ie. Proceeds from online sources and the sale of the products will go straight to Enable Ireland and will assist the organisation in maintaining and building its services.
Commenting on the Enable Ireland ‘No Limits Kite Appeal’ campaign this September, Dorothy Barry, Retail and Fundraising Director said: “At Enable Ireland, we provide vital services for children and adults with disabilities from 40 locations in 14 counties across Ireland and work in partnership with them so that they may achieve maximum independence, choice and inclusion in their communities. The Enable Ireland No Limits Kite Appeal is an integral part of our fundraising initiative for this year. We chose the kite emblem to represent the campaign, as it symbolizes freedom and independence. We’re appealing to the general public to come on board and join us either as a volunteers or donors during September. “
