IWA Website Petition on Tax Changes for Disabled Drivers

Changes in the interpretation and the administration by the Revenue Commissioners of the legislation relating to the Disabled Driver and Passenger Tax Relief Scheme are to be implemented from the 1st January 2012. This will effect people with disabilities who want to purchase and opperate an adapted vehicle and also organisations who provide transport as part of their service.

The Irish Wheelchair Association have launched a petition which they aim to present to the Ministers and Departments in question in an effort to reverse these changes.
