Little Pals Pre-school


Little Pals Preschool provides sessional Preschool Services to children who attend Enable Ireland, Sandymount  with a primary physical disability and to local children without a disability between the ages of 2 to 5+ years.


There are 12 places in each group, 6 of these places are for Enable Ireland service user children and 6 are for local children.


The Preschool is funded in part by the Irish Government’s National Development Plan (2007-2013), by Enable Ireland and also by fees paid by local children attending each group.  For further information please contact Caroline Mannion at cmannion@enableireland.ie or at 01-2615906


Morning Playgroup  9.30-1pm


The morning playgroup has a maximum number of 12 children. Children must be 3 years of age to attend this group. This group uses a structured routine around Play based learning activities which include table; top activities, painting, play dough, sand and water play. Language activities and song/ story time are also part of the programme. 


Senior Morning Playgroup  9.30-1pm


The senior morning playgroup has a maximum number of 12 children. Children must be 4 years of age to attend this group. This group provides an environment which allows children to work individually and at their own pace with activities of their own choice. Children are encouraged grow and develop creatively. Activities are educational and focus on communication skills, self awareness and self confidence. The main focus in the Senior Morning Playgroup is to prepare children for their transition into Primary School the following September.


First Pals Afternoon Group  2.00 - 4.30pm


The afternoon playgroup “First Pals” has a maximum of 12 places. Children must be 2 years of age in order to attend this group. “First Pals” afternoon playgroup runs for four afternoons a week (Mon, Wed, Thurs & Fri) between 2 and 4.30 pm. 

The afternoon group provides play based learning and follows the same curriculum as the Morning Playgroup.
