Using the on screen keyboard in KDE 4
It should be noted that this on screen keyboard is very basic application, with less sophistication than the corresponding Gnome version. It is only accessible by mouse, and requires the user to click the various keys, there are no auto click or scanning options as standard.
Click on the ‘K’ icon on the menu tab, or press ‘Alt’ + ‘F1’ to open ‘KickOff’, Fig 1.

The keyboard can be resized by clicking and holding the red hatched area at the bottom right of the keyboard.
The keyboard settings are accessed by clicking the ‘Spanner’ button, located above the green arrow, and the keyboard will close to the taskbar when the red circled white cross is clicked.
