Enable Ireland Galway Adult Services

Enable Ireland Galway provides personal assistants, transport and social work support services to adults residing in Co. Galway. A Regional Assistive Technology service is also available to support adult service users. We are also part of the Supported Employment Consortium in the Galway area and hope to develop our services further in partnership with other organisations.

Directions

Via the N18 (from Limerick) or N6 (from Dublin) road direction

• Approach your first roundabout, Oranbeg, at Oranmore (approx. 5 miles from Galway city). Take the exit signposted for Galway City.
• At the next roundabout (Carrownmoneash) take the 2nd exit
• Travel for about 1 mile on the dual carriageway and take the 2nd exit at the Martin roundabout. At the end of this road, follow the sign for Galway West (or Clifden).
• Proceed to the Lynch roundabout and take the 2nd exit. Passing the ESSO petrol station on your right as you travel along the dual carriageway.
• At the Morris roundabout take the 2nd exit and proceed to the Font roundabout again taking the 2nd exit.
• Proceed for 1 mile along a 50 KPH dual carriageway until you arrive at the next roundabout. Take the 2nd exit at this roundabout (Kirwan). Get into the right lane and continue pass Dunnes Stores on your left.
• The next roundabout (Bodkin) is signal controlled. Take the 4th exit and travel on the dual carriageway over the bridge.
• At the end of the bridge (Topaz garage on the left) travel straight through the lights until you arrive at the Browne roundabout.
• Take the 2nd exit. You are now in the hospital grounds. Take an immediate left as you enter the gates & travel to the end of the road & through the gates to the Enable Ireland centre.

Via the N59 from Clifden. 

• When entering Galway, take a right at the first set of lights (located at the Westwood Hotel), and travel to the Browne Roundabout.
• Take the 3rd exit entering the hospital grounds, followed by an immediate left turn. Travel to the end of the road & through the gates to the Enable Ireland centre.

Via the N84 from Headford.

• When entering Galway, take the 3rd exit at Kirwin Roundabout. Get into the right lane and continue pass Dunnes Stores on your left.
• Take the 4th exit at the next roundabout (Bodkin) and travel on the dual carriageway over the bridge.
• At the end of the bridge (Topaz garage on the left) travel straight through the lights until you arrive at the Browne roundabout. Take the 2nd exit.
• You are now in the hospital grounds. Take an immediate left as you enter the gates & travel to the end of the road & through the gates to the Enable Ireland centre.

Via the R336 from An Spidéal.

• When reaching Galway, take a left at the first set of traffic lights at the intersection of Threadneedle Road / Taylor’s Hill. Enter the roundabout and take the 3rd exit (heading towards the city centre).
• Continue through the next two sets of traffic lights and enter the Browne Roundabout. Take the 4th exit entering the hospital grounds.
• Take an immediate left as you enter the gates & travel to the end of the road & through the gates to the Enable Ireland centre.
