Personal Assistants
I took my first ferry journey to Liverpool this year so I could attend ‘Truck Fest’ in northwest England. Motoring, trucks, everything to do with the world of motoring has been a lifelong interest of mine, so it was great to finally attend the event. This would not have been possible without the PCP process and my circle of support, including the IWA.
Enable Ireland employ and train personal assistants to help service users access training and education, employment, social and leisure pursuits, and independent living.
These services are particularly developed in the Galway and Meath region.
