I'm really interested in supporting other people with disabilities to be the best they can be and I’m building up my experience in that area. I aim to help them see that you can still live a very positive and happy life whether you have a disability or not.

Individual and group advocacy skills training takes place in many of our service centres.

The purpose of this is to develop group and individual advocacy skills and to ensure the inclusion and consultation of service users in all aspects of adult service development.

Advocacy is facilitated through training, meetings between service users, staff and management, and through person-centred planning.
