Accessing Meath Home Support Service

The ‘Home Support Service’ will be provided for people with a disability who require assistance in the area of personal care, practical home support and social care.   This service will be provided within the person’s home and in their local community.

Enable will accept referrals for home support services from HSE for all persons with disabilities, living in Co. Meath.

Persons will be assessed by the HSE in line with HSE criteria and the outcome of the assessment will be translated into a home support package which will be provided by Enable on behalf of the HSE.
 
Enable do not have a role to play in the assessment process.  The assessment and allocation of hours will be completed and agreed by HSE prior to a referral to Enable to provide the service.

Each service user will have different requirements.  Specific duties will be agreed between the HSE and Enable for each individual home support package.
